Paros is one of the Cycladic islands in Greece that has everything you want: beautiful beaches, cute villages, and a pretty big port to get to wherever you need. For those who are planning on coming to Paros and chose to stay in Parikia, here is an unbiased review of Apollon Boutique Hotel. I hope this article will help you with your choice of accommodation.
Apollon Boutique hotel is located in Parikia just 7 minutes walk from the port. Across from the hotel there is a pretty spacious parking lot in case you want to rent a car in Paros.
Just one minute away is located the first beach in case you don’t feel like going somewhere far.
And although the Apollon boutique hotel is not in the very center of Parikia, there are tons of decent restaurants nearby.
The Apollon Boutique hotel has a very charming courtyard with cute sitting areas and lots of shade from a huge bougainvillea tree.
There is also a cute restaurant that in the morning serves delicious breakfast.
The service at Apollon Boutique hotel is always great. We have actually stayed in this hotel twice: in 2018 and in 2021; and both times the staff was always friendly and very helpful.
The cleaning service is available every day if you need, and any problem with the room is resolved very fast.
We got a room on the first floor with a queen bed and a balcony facing the courtyard. The room is quite spacious with two side tables, lots of lights, a table, small fridge, and a big wardrobe. I also need to mention that the bed was very comfortable.
The one thing that I personally didn’t like is that the room was very dark during the day. I love that big courtyard tree, but our room was right under it. That is of course not such a big problem if you don’t plan on spending too much time in the room. But for those who travel and work that can be an annoying (even depressing) factor.
The bathroom at the hotel is quite standard, although they do have a very good water pressure. All the amenities are provided and renewed if needed.
Two things that might bother you are: the ventilation system is not the greatest, so after taking the shower it might be very humid in the room as well; the bathroom door is a thick glass door, not see through of course, but still you can feel like you don’t have enough privacy.
Breakfast at Apollon Boutique hotel is not included for all the rooms, so if you want to get one you pay separately ( €10 per person).
Apollon Boutique Hotel might not be a 5 star hotel, but it is definitely one of the best accommodations we have had in Greece (if we are talking about middle range prices).
The staff make you feel welcome and the hotel itself is very cozy and I would even say homey place.
